Engagement Bonsai.

So it's a mates engagement party tonight and I didn't know what to get. I was thinking about a bonsai as a gift but the instant I thought about him with a bonsai in his hands, I knew it wouldn't last the week. Still I decided to persist on anyway and get him one that even a hater of bonsai would enjoy. It's some sort of Aussie native but as to the species I am "stumped".

I'm sure some here would say it's "not a bonsai", but I like it. I think it's a variety of Australian Mint, by the way.
