Hi guys.
I was hoping that someone on here would be able to help me out in regards to the id of this fig below.
I purchase it as a port Jackson fig a year or two ago but after a trunk chop over summer its grow has been slow and it has put out leaves nothing like what was on it before hand. I've got Hoys book on figs and couldn't find any leave even close to this. They are around 40mm wide 65mm long.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Michael

The shape of the leaf likes like moreton bay. The photo makes it look like a variagated form. Maybe this is just due to the flash photography.

Looks like ficus religiosa to me.

Sometimes when a fig is defoliated it will put out juvenile foliage which looks a little different to normal. I believe this is the case here. You may need to wait a season or two for the true adult foliage to establish itself

Thank you very much for the input. I think I'll just let it go free and see if it changes in a season - I was unaware of the Juvenal foliage after defliation. I'll also keep the suggestion of sacred fig (religiosa) and Morton bay in mind as I go forward.
