Mate if you can get hold of a copy of a publication of Bonsai Australis there's article about pine maintenance and development. Vol 1 issue 2. Article by Jeffry Farman ;)

Hi all
Have just acquired a sizeable grafted JWP. Problem is how done I treat it re repotting, root pruning etc. Is there different treatment between seed grown and grafted plants

No difference between grafted and seed raised trees - remember that the root stock your pine is grafted on was once a seedling!
