PJ Fig Sunday Project

Sunday afternoon I decided that I wanted to play around with trying to fuse some little PJ figs together.
I had one that’s been sitting in a grow pot for about 4 months (it’s the tall lanky one with few branches). It’s an unremarkable fig and I thought it would be an excellent candidate for some experimentation. What I wanted to do was get more branching down low, so I popped into the big green shed and acquired 3 little starters that had branching down low.
I removed most of the soil from them all, gave them a seasol bath (so the roots wouldn’t dry out while I went on an excursion with the GF).
Wired them all together in 3 places, at the base (under the soil) in the middle and up the top. I have a feeling that the top wire may be too tight, but we will see.
There is a little fig in a black pot in the background of the last photo that was also bought 4 months ago. It has produced branches everywhere so it will be a stand alone project.
