I have had this Elm for a while now and never really did anything with it. Three years ago i hit on the idea of turning it into a semi cascade with lots and lots of ramification. I have now got the bones of the project together and will now pay attention to branch development. This of course means pruning, wiring etc which i will do over the next couple of weeks. Good to see a project in its raw state and i will post again when done. The base is 420mm across so a large stump.

I am playing with lighting at the moment also for my photography skills, hence a couple of piccy's.

omg bodhi,
That is some amazing stock. I am not a fan of these weeds, but that is some amazing stock you have there.
Can't wait to see this develop over the years. Beautiful bodhi!
As always, love to see your stock

Lovely base there Bodhi.
The first one has better lighting on the branching and the second the trunk is a little lighter.
Hard to get a good shot of both on a subject with high contrast like this one.

Lovely stock and look forward to seeing the progress.
For me the second pic is much better. The coolness of the light works well with the stark image. Too much warmth in the first one. Perhaps it would be a better light if it was in leaf. Like the sun shining.
