Leptospermum Juniperinum (Prickly Tea Tree)

Its a week tomorrow since we set out on our dig, and I finally finished cleaning up the mess I had made. All plants now tucked away and watered.
One recent post commented That he couldn't be bothered, I can understand as there's a lot involved to dig it out, get it home and wack it in a grow pot . as the aim is to have it survive .
This Lepto took some time to identify, but I'm sure its right.
I dug a small one about 18 months ago and found that any branches over about 6 to 8 mm are impossible to bend so I cut it back to the root ball/Knot and regrew the branches and will be able to shape the branches over a couple of years till the branches harden . Its a ugly little thing, but I've learnt a bit.
Also found I could lift the root ball /knot up out of the ground. Its not pretty, but may be in 10 to 15 years! Dug two out, one with fairly thick trunk and one with bendable branches. Also have seed grown plants progressing and plan to replant around the farm away from the Burgan and the D6 clearing.
And distribute some to the Vic Native Club members
