Ledanta Virtual Competition - September '09
Hello everyone,
Here is the latest virt comp.
The tree is a malus profusion (crabapple - pink flower - red apple). The foliage is of "purpurea" colour, ie. dark crimson/purple leaf hardening to a "purpley green" over summer - the foliage will turn a bright crimson during Autumn. I will get the dimensions shortly (quite large).
This virt may require significant carving (as is my plan for its future).
Should provide some good material for some great virts - get busy!!
Sorry about the pics (kinda rushed).
Cheers,
Leigh.

G'day Jamie,
You can come up with anything you like mate. Look back on some of the old competitions if you like. There are no rules to creating your "virt", you can get as creative as you like.
Cheers,
Leigh.

So how exactly do I enter this competition?
is there a program I'm supposed to use or something?
or just Photoshop my heart out?

Hi Jordy,
There are a bunch of free software packages on the net, I will see if I can find a list for you to have a look at.

Nothing fancy, just a rough prune to get the ball rolling.
