A Bit of Snow in Goulburn

There was a surprise on Friday morning with a good dusting of snow in and around Goulburn. Although Goulburn is a little cold in winter it is unusual for it to snow so I took the opportunity to take a few photos. There was a lot more snow than shown here but there was rain on it before I got the chance to get the camera out.
All the trees are in training and don't mind the snow!!!

Hi Watto,

Margaret and I drove north to Bonsai by the River on Friday morning but delayed our departure till about 10 am after we heard the highway was closed and there was a 20 kilometre line of traffic going nowhere. Goulburn had plenty of snow but by Mittagong it was the heaviest we had ever seen despite living almost 20 years near Mittagong. They were still pushing the snow to the side at 12 noon when we went through.

A lovely and rare site.
