The ficus Watkinsiana that I have taken 'nipple figs' from have quite thick foliage growth, the internode spaces are similar to port jackson or other smaller leaved figs. The leaves were large but were smaller in comparison to a Moreton bay Fig which I have going as a bonsai and is reducing in leaf size quite well. A lot of the google image searchs bring up unrelated pictures which might have had 'ficus watkinsiana' written somewhere in the webpage. Next time im in Newcastle I'll take a photo of them for yadansai wrote:Probably unlikely you'll find any Ficus watkinsiana as bonsai. Leaves are huge with long petioles, they have long internodes strongly vertical growth and little branching. I have a few plants but haven't tried too much with them.
