Hi Angelozoras, that is certainly windswept! Wind blasted might be a better term!

Even though the tree is being battered by winds, there is usually still some movement in the trunk and branches. I would try to introduced some bends, try to recreate the appearance that the tree has continuously tried to grow upwards and then been forced over by the wind. If that makes any sense?

I find it helps to do an image search for good examples of the style on google and study the movement

Have tried to do the movement the branches are quite hard to bend
Have probably left it grow to long before I have to give it movement
Will still try

Try change the trunk angle closer to vertical but still leaning slightly right, then use heavy wire to bend the branches into similar angles to what you have now - I think it will give a better image?

I've found this link is good for wiring method http://www.bonsaiexperience.com/BonsaiStyle3.html . Might help to bend the branches easier?

If the wind blow from left to right then the rock position need to reconsider.

Agreed with the posters above. Good attempt, but the trunk line and primary branches need a bit more movement, or else it merely looks like a juvenile tree planted sideways.

Windswept is one of the hardest forms to nail, from what i've read. Keep it up though, seems like you're learning the intricacies of it.

I agree with all of the above and add that pine shoud bend reasonably easily if the wire is large enough diameter.

all ideas will be considered the rock was there to use as a weight to hold it in place
