Yesterday I found a Callistemon in a park with extremely deeply fissured hard bark. Leaves look like a viminalis type. Tree looked quite old but only 2 metres high.
No pics. Any ideas? (I took seed )

I have one with the exact same deep fissures. It is viminalas; the one I have. Its an old and bold, but a good one.
