Can you please advice about this suspect disease.
The tree is an african olive. These spots are present on the trunk and leaves. It seems overall still healthy, but seems spreading. I have used some Yates for rose, but no improvements.
Thank you for your help

Possibly scale.
Squash one and see if it is a beastie.
If it is then Pest Oil and or Confidor (spray) will treat it. You could also put a Confidor pellet in the pot.

Carpul, I am goingtogo out on a limb and say that they spots on the leaves and those on the rest of the tree are unrelated. How damp do you keep the tree? Is it permanently wet?

No, it gets 6 hours of full sun.
Although I must say that we had a lot of rain in the last few days in Sydney, and 2 weeks ago for watering I started to mist all my trees instead of pooring water.
The others are all ok.

The white spots on the trunk and branches look a lot to me like root formation that I see on olives I leave soaking in water for a long time. This could be caused by being constantly damp. It will be simple to determine whether this is the case ....... Just scratch a few of them and see whether they seem to be part of the plant or not. If they are insects they will simply come off. If they are rootlets they will clearly be part of the tree's growth.
As for the spots on the leaves, I'm not sure. Scratch them as well and see whether they come off.
It is worth pointing out that misting is not a valid form of watering. If you are referring to microjet type watering, that's ok, as it is a fine spray, not mist, but misting by hand seldom achieves good watering physics. I'm not sure how new you are to bonsai, but if you are, have a read of this for guidance on watering.

I still reckon it is rootlets forming.
