The annual Goulburn Bonsai Society exhibition will be held this year on the 3rd and 4th of October 2015. For those who attended last year it is in the same location, the old council chambers next to the post office in the centre of town (Auburn Street). If I knew the street number I would tell you so I hope someone who knows will chime in soon and let you know if you navigate via GPS.
All the old favorites will be there but this year we have some yamadori that were dug by the local members for sale which should be good fun.
Our exhibition is held in conjunction with the cities Lilac City Festival so there is plenty of fun for all the family to enjoy as well as the bonsai of course. Come along and say hello.

I forgot to mention that there are a few good quality bonsai books for sale this year and that might suit a few people.

I heard a whisper that Janet Selby was going to attend.
Can some one please confirm?

I'm pretty sure that Janet Selby is a confirmed starter at the exhibition. Looking forward to seeing some of her new work and of course taking home an Australian one off pot.

Thanks, we hope it will be a good show. I am looking forward to the "dig" trees that will be for sale - you never know I might find a little treasure?

I have it on very good authority that Watto is doing the major demo at 2pm on the Saturday.

If that is true I might pot the demo tree into a PK pot, just to make me feel better.

the books that Watto mentioned are vintage books dating from the Early Eighties to the Nineties. one is a Harry Tomlinson hard cover and the others are a range of Authors like,Ken Norman,Christine Stewart and a Introduction to Bonsai by the Kai society of Japan. All are hard cover and in excellent condition.
