Myoporum monatum - waterbush

Post by Andrew Legg »

Hi All,

Anyone tried waterbush or manatoka as a bonsai? I have one growing on my verge that is collapsing so I'm air layering a piece before I cut it down. Wondering if anyone has tried it.

Cheerio,

Andrew

I bought a plant from a nursery with some nice bark. The label just said Myoporum. I replanted it in early spring bare-rooting it and cutting off about 60% of the roots. It didn't skip a bit. Other than that I know nothing about them.
