some caution as I take on this task, not that I can't grow a tree or shrub but I don't see a lot of Wisteria growing in NQ.
I had these given to me back in about June of this year as the lady who had them bought up from NSW a year earlier(I didn't ask questions) asked me to have a look at them. They leapt into spring last year but declined rapidly and back into dormancy(?)
I am lucky enough to get a couple of frosts or at the very least some quite cold mornings every winter so I am hoping this will help in their ongoing growth.
I have broken or cut the bottom of the two pots and put them into a semi-shaded area about a month ago, so far I have been rewarded with the first leaf burst, fingers crossed.
I am lead to believe that I have one Chinese Wisteria and one Japanese Wisteria, I have done no research to distinguish these as yet, lets see that they live.

When the lady first got this we did an attempt of airlayering (successful) but due to concerns of the health of the plant I removed them for a further attempt. We did get root growth but I removed them along with the layer.

They look healthy and are green right through to the ends of each branch,
wish me luck,
