Down Goes a PK Pot

As I wasn't home at the time I am not sure what caused the crash, could have been a cat, or a possum or even the wind (though this combination is tied down) but what ever it was a cedar is on the ground and the Pat Kennedy pot is no longer. The tree survived quite well considering (I think that's an add for tying your trees into the pot well) but of you read this Pat, pot number 1132 is no longer and I am very sad.

Damn! That was a nice pot. I really love that style of round pot that Pat does. :palm:

I wonder if the pot would have survived, had it fallen onto dirt instead of concrete.

Be brave Watto..... still that trembling lip. :(

It is not unknown for these pots to sometimes resurrect themselves. :)

The condolences are warmly received so thank you. There is some good news (there is a silver lining to every occurrence) and that is the incident really highlighted the fact that I need to do some serious work on this tree.
Pat - I'll keep an eye out for a replacement?????

Sorry to hear mate.

Maybe we should start wiring our pots to the benches for the same reason we wire the trees to the pots?

Agreed. We see a lot of this in Japan where any tree that seems even somewhat unstable is tied down to the bench it is on.

Better to be safe than sorry hey?
