Just a catch up on this one so maybe a before photo for which I will take no accolades for the growing of the tree as all this credit has to go to Leong and the styling credit to Ryan. Then I guess a photos from Sept this year where the tree wasn't doing much and admittedly the photo was more of "proof of life" for Kerrin's "collection" thread. And now as the tree looked as of yesterday, what a difference a month makes in a trees responses. and so begins the clean up, debris, pick-up-sticks anyone? with the top of the pot cut off for exposure of the full trunk and re-wired

It looks like you have a bit of useful back budding there, it is amazing what a little bending and light will do for a tree.

When do you plan to repot?

Hey Scott, thanks for the interest.
Admitting to being a pine novice, especially one of this age and quality I will be taking it slow and careful.
August of next year will go with a reduction of half the root ball and into a training pot, then maybe two years after that a serious pot for it's longterm.
