I was just being a bit silly Pup. They never released Deciduous Masdterclass. It's release was advertised once but it never came out. Stone Lantern has told me there are no plans to release it at the moment. There must be a draft out there somewhere though I reckon. I was really looking forward to that book considering all the good things that have been said about the Pine book.

Must admit Brett I did not know that.
What the juniper and Pine masterclass are a compilation of all of the articles that were in Bonsai Today Magazines.
If you are lucky enough to have all of them :) you do not need the masterclass books. It does however save you having to go though the mags to find the one you are after.
I have just found a Magzine I have not read Bonsai focus 122 it arrived the day before we left to go over sea's. I put in the rack and forgot about it.Was looking for something else and found it. So iam two months behind. Should get 123 next week!. Again we learn a lot from this site. :) Pup

The magazine is no longer published it amalgamated with Bonsai Europe, to become Bonsai Focus.
Now they have no ties with Bonsai Focus.
They are a publishing house and Distributor so you should be able to get it from them!
You could also try evil Bay or Leigh Taffe one of our members who owns a nursery in the A,C,T.
why not give him a PM to see what he can do.

The pine one isn't that great as the information is from translated articles from back in the late 1980's. Things have changed a fair bit since then. But i guess its a good starting point to get your head around things. I seem to remember some of the needle reduction info being a little contradictory between articles which is another issue with growing pines. There are many versions of needle reduction techniques and as such it can be a little confusing when learning..
