Juniper ID

Picked up a bit of nursery stock dirt cheap but it was only marked as juniperus.
a little help on ID would be much appreciated and maybe even some suggestions on a style suited to this particular juniper.

To my amateur eyes it looks like a Shimpaku Juniper with the juvenile needles amongst the scaley foliage.

Definitly J chinensis. Could be 'San Jose' or could be one of the upright types like ''Robusta Green''

Yeah chinensis was my first thought but the juvenile foliage is quite short a la Squamata.
