I have two wisterias that i have grown from seed and both at growing vigorously!
The problem is that for every petiole that sprouts, its drops the lowest petiole.
They are about a foot tall each but arent really showing any ramification and removal of the terminal bud just results in a new one.

Should i just cut the main line? Should i wait?
Id love any advice/progress photos of any wisteria out there.

Just keep feeding them. Do ground growing for some time then take them back to pots. Don''t worry too much about trimming at this stage. They bud very easily on old wood. I took some cuttings from a a potted wisteria. The cutting was ground-grown for 3 years and now at least 3 times larger than the mother plant.

Excellent. Thanks for the advice kvan.
Guess i shoukd work on fostering a strong trunk first and pushing the foliage down to old wood later.

Yeah. Build a thick trunk first. The one on the left in my pic was a cutting from the plant on the right.
