I dont think there is anything bigger or better that has happened in the bonsai world than the Artisans Cup.
The retrospective website and short film were released today, take a look!

Hugh, thanks for the update.
I had hoped that someone would alert us once the commemorative photo album was available, which it now is to pre-order. I expect that it will have the very high production value of the whole event.
Unfortunately their order form only seems to provide for shipping to the US. Luckily I have some friends in Portland who can on-forward a copy. Everyone else you will need to start calling in favours from your US friends.

I'm in the US and would be willing to try to help anybody who is interested in getting one of these. Let me know and we will see if we can work something out.
Alternatively, Ryan Neil is a very reasonable guy and I bet if somebody wanted to coordinate an Aussie-bound group order, he would help make that happen. He is planning an Artisan's Cup in Sydney after all if the rumors are true.

Ryan has informed that they are working on creating an international shipping option very soon. so check back periodically to see when that option becomes available.
alternatively you can view the trees by subscribing to the website with heaps of extras too!

I attended the Artisans Cup as the finale to a month long bonsai and suiseki trek across Canada and the USA. Trying to take photos at the exhibition with hundreds of people in queues viewing the trees was almost impossible. I hoped that an album might be produced. I've emailed and Chelsea has replied as follows:
Hello Frank,
So nice to hear from you!! Thanks for your interest in the book. If we go to print with the books, we will definitely be able to ship internationally. There isn’t a firm date on when/if it will be ready. In order to even conceive of printing the book, we need to sell at least 250 copies…if we don’t hit that mark in two weeks, we are going to have to refund all the book purchases because we would just lose so much money printing it if we only print like 75 copies. We’re already so far in debt, that there’s just no way we can afford to do it. So, we’ll continue to market it for the next two weeks, encourage people to pre-order the book, and we’ll see what happens! Please please pre-order your copy (or copies! Buy some for gifts! Bonsai friends! Family! Etc.! haha) so that we’ll be that much closer to being able to print them. Thanks so much for your support. Spread the word to your friends, and I will send you a link to pay through Paypal so we can factor in international shipping.
Thanks and take care,
Chelsea

So folks get on board and send an email to pre-order the book and even consider getting a subscription to the online bits. I read Jonas Dupich's blog (Bonsai Tonight - see bonsaitonight.com/2016/02/02/the-artisans-cup-retrospective/ this morning and he gives a good recommendation too.
