This is a pot my mum bought in Japan about 1980 or so on a bonsai tour. Can anyone help identify the maker? No marking on bottom. This dawsonia has been exposed to alot of heat today on the veranda but still looks ok after a quick water. Love how they look like little conifers.

Sorry cannot help. Slight change of topic, all I can see is a giant Anaconda in the Amazon haha. Good luck with the ID.

You'll find the glass on Google with : shallow fishbowl
BTW, I'm very certain the moss is dicranum scoparium AKA mood moss, but the specinmen in the photo has rather straight foliage instead of curved.

I have to replant my mood moss closer to the pine trees when the snow melts. I chose a bad spot. I just found this moss weeks ago and the internets led me to this thread. What's funny is that I've had nearly everything in that photo ready to be put together before I was even aware, except for the pretty rocks and substrate. My rocks and dirt are boring. It's just too beatiful to not try replicating it when I'm only one step away!!!
