Looks Brilliant Gerard.
Hopefully not a rude question - what dimensions is your raft, longest and widest measurements?
I am playing / learning with a couple of rafts myself using an easy learner - Jacaranda. Think i've stuffed mine, meddling too much.
I really love the shape you have created - are you content too with this design?

Dimensions are 85cm wide and 45cm high 13 trunks. Originally designed in a workshop with Hirotoshi Saitoh in 2005

It is juniperus squamata, (one tree all root connected)

I have lost a couple of grafts on the yatsubusa, it is healthy and I expect to go through the same procedure adding more root grafts in the future. It will be ready for exhibition in about 2030.
