G, day guys, and gals. I have just been refering to one of my books.
It is one of those books that has a lot of practial content, without all the gloss.
The BONSAI
BOOK of
PRACTICAL
FACTS By Jerome Meyer ISBN 0-945487-00-2.
It is full of as it says practical help and advice it gives tips on various aspects of Bonsai.
I have had this book for about 18 years and I still refere to it.
Mind you I do that with most of my books. Always remembering North and South hemispheres.
It might be hard to find so good luck Pup

G'day Pup I have to admit I have never heard of this book. But it if this floats your boat I might seek it out. At the same time I might look for the book by Craig Coussins which you feature in. Tell us how did that come about if you wish to tell us.

Ash,
Craig Coussins was over in Australia on one of his many jaunts around the world.
He was here in WA at the invite of the Bonsai Society of Western Australia.
He wanted to see as many collections as he could he asked I said yes .
Then he said he would like some pics for his new book ( Old Title ) so I said that providing recognition was given no problem.
I met the man 4 times we corresponded regarding the book. I am still waiting for my copy from him as promised. Mrs Pup bought our copy.
There are a hell of a lot of typos and involving big names. In Australian bonsai as well as Japanese. There you have it.
My wife bought at Auction a Japanese Suiseki for him when she posted it of she was abused because she put the price as what was paid. He had to pay customs on it, so I think for good friends to abuse some one who tried to help that sucks. Also if it was not for the fact of our trees I would not have it in my Library. Pup
