Last tuesday night at The school of Bonsai, Squizzy turned up with a large unkempt ficus that he collected from a building site a few years ago.
It have been chopped and carved and let go with wire cutting and general poor state.
After he hacked some more, he decided it was not worth the effort as he had lots of better trees to look after. his parting comment was that he was going to go home and chuck it out! :o

I liked a particular view of it as he held it under his arm and suggested that he drop in my ute and I will see what we can do.
After a little discussing, i decided to chop it some more and see what I can make of it.
As I needed another tree like hole in the head, I suggested we get repot and get some growth happening, Style in it and then sell it off at Christmas for some beer money

As we both drink Coopers, I thought that would be a fitting name for it :-)

Lets see what we can do over the next few months after I repotted today (so squizz can have the pot back for something better), and positioned in a nice sunny sheltered spot.
It will get lots of sun, water and ferts to see how good it can be in that time.

If anyone want to take it early, Cost will be 2 cases of Coopers lager :-)
