White pine Jakarta, future cascade

This pine I found searching for Junipers, what was pleasantly, this tree had double the branches as any other that where to sell.
The trunk had a nice root curving on it too, these I like to expose in the future.
I took off the needle on the trunk, I changed the medium from rice husk to lava sand/compost ratio 3-1. As seen on the root picture, the medium had some dry spots in the husk.
The tree will be left alone until it has adjusted, then I will start bending it down to start the cascade. They are quite easy to bend but I still lack the desired experience.
I got one tree done 2 years back, pictures to follow (different topic). Any tips are highly welcomed. Again same like Juniper, pines are not native to the tropics, the seasons are missing, therefore new cones are coming at will, at any time, here my question, when do you actually cut the cones correctly on white pine? On my other tree I did it without experience, some have split and build new shoots (1-3) and others are only one.
The pointing finger is showing actually dry spots in the husk.
Any tips welcomed.

@ Boics;
I am not sure it is white pine too, that's what they selling them for! What would be your suggestion? Thanks for comments in advance, that may be the reason why I am not getting the desired result!
Any suggestion?? Maybe on the tree below you see some more hints??
I plan to develop, the side branches, when the cascade comes down, after the root system is strong enough. The needle on the main trunk will all die off during bending, if I would not have taken them off, they will when the wiring take place.
I started, this tree 2-3 years back with an Indonesian friend he gave me some input, but it is just hanging in there and for sure its not treated right, so I am looking for positive suggestions to get the new one on its way.

I am not sure about those Bar branches. Won't they create lumps later on?

How many needles are there in each sheath?
Dennis is referring to more than one branch leaving the trunk at the same spot.

If I understand it right, the branches connection of 3- 4 build up lumps, correct. I will decide after bending and positioning, to cut branches off. Is that what it is you saying. Sometimes I got terminology problems, my mother young is German.

Hi Andreas
Sorry for the confusion. Yep, I am referring to places with more than 2 branches in one junction.
It makes perfect sense to cut after styling. Thanks.

I agree it is probably not what we call white pine - certainly not Japanese white pine. Count how many leaves come from one spot. Some pines have bundles of 5 needles (leaves) together, most have needles with 2 together and a couple of species have 3 per bundle.
pines are not native to the tropics, the seasons are missing, therefore new cones are coming at will, at any time, here my question, when do you actually cut the cones correctly on white pine?
We use the word 'candles' when talking about the new shoots growing on a pine tree. Cones are the seed pods of the pine tree (when you take a photo of the mature trees try to get photos of: the whole tree; the bark on the trunk; the seed cones; close up shot of needles, especially where they grow out of the branch so we can see how many in each bundle; and a shot of the new buds (candles). all those features can help to ID a pine species.
My guess is the same as Bodhi. They are probably Pinus radiata - Monterey pine. These seem to grow better in warm conditions and we grow lots for timber in Australia. They also seem to grow at any time of year as you say your pines do. Oner here we can cut radiate pine at almost any time of year and it will make lots of new buds.
