I got some problems on my Bougenvil, but can't find any pest. I have different ones in different pots of the same soil, water, fertiliser and place but one some show lush greens the others are as you can see on the picture. Would be glad to find out what it could be. The last one is what it should look like.

Deficiency signs:

Nitrogen deficiency: Older leaves turn a pale green and the veins are usually a reddish color. New growth will be stunted.

Phosphorus deficiency: The veins will turn red to purple and the plant as a whole will look purplish.

Potassium deficiency:
Causes the edges of older the leaves to be a purple color and the leaf tips will be a brownish color.

Magnesium deficiency:
First appears on older leaves where they turn a spotted yellow or tan color.

Zinc deficiency (rare):
Will look almost like magnesium but here the leaf will be twisted.

Iron deficiency (always one of my greatest problems):
Young growth is stunted and pale -- you'll know its iron if the veins on the leaf remain green.

Calcium is another element that I always had to supplement because of the sweetness of my water...
When it is deficient, dead areas appear in young growth and the tips soon die.

Looks to me like Iron n Magnesium is required.

ok, thanks very much, I will add it. Problem in Indonesia you hardly find good or specific fertiliser, I got some Aquarium fertiliser that will do. Thanks again.

I agree Kirky. It is almost certainly a deficiency of some sort and because it appears on the youngest leaves probably iron or Mg deficiency.

Looks like you need to consider your fertiliser regime more carefully Andreas. Potted plants get watered more than most plants and nutrients get leached out easily. We need to use fertiliser with good level of trace elements or use extra trace elements alongside normal fert program.
For the moment you should apply trace element mixture or use Chelated iron. Also try Mmagnesium sulphate (epsom salts) is usually the easiest source of Mg.

I have been thinking about changing the way I fertilise to liquids, will have to look into this a bit more.
