It was the only way to get the shape into the tree that I wanted.

That is my main concern. If I can get that leader in proportion with the rest of the design I think it might just work. If not. Into a bigger pot for some growing on.

...and, again, not much to report as yet. Plenty of healthy new growth though. I will let this grow out a bit more them start the process of ramification. Looking nice a healthy though
