Lagerstroemia in flower

Bodhi wasn't happy about displaying his crepe myrtle when in flower, as the flowers extend so far out from the trunk. It certainly can be an issue. Every year I pinch this tree twice back to two leaves before I let it grow out to form the flower heads - yes it's a bit straggly, but I think it's worth it for the flowers. It's about 60cms high.
