Really interesting piece you've got there... Are you planning on keeping the bends & curves going when you get to branching & ramification...can't wait to see how it turns out.

Time to get some wire onto the branches to compliment the curves in the trunk. Might consider replanting it as a semi cascade.

I removed some unnecessary branches last night and put a bit of wire on. I'm liking the semi-cascade option for this one. Hopefully I can get some better branch structure happening.

I repotted, compressed the trunk and changed the angle. Rewired the lower trunk too. I'm looking forward to getting more branching now.

Hi all,

Here is my final entry for this Crabapple.
Future development will be to get more refined branching and hopefully the trunk will fuse so I can remove the cable tie.
It hasn't flowered or fruited yet so I'm looking forward to seeing what colour it is.
