Another display night comes along and boy this year did we have nice colour on show
Not as many people ( Squizz where were you?), and our usual Judge gallivanting overseas around the Galapagos Islands, so Vince more than ably stepped in.
thanks Vince, a nice change and different viewpoints on tree development and display are very interesting
Anyway to the trees
Enjoy

While the displays are being judged and admired, normal workshop work goes on, so a few pics from around the room of some trees that members are developing or maintaining.
Enjoy.

Does anyone know what type of tree the one in what looks like a blue PK pot with the small deer next to it is called? It looks like a citrus tree of some sort.

Thanks for posting champion, very interesting.
I think the more we practice "showing" the better we will get at it, and that all goes well for the future of bonsai.

That Mel is so beautiful. I really love it.
That dwarf cumquat is very cute.
I'd love to see an update on what someone does with that Leptospermum. Looks like great material to work with.

I even commented on that tree previously. I'm getting old.

Beautiful colour on your Liquidambar Ken, maybe it's time to update the wiki photos...
I think it's a great example.
