Thanks Mel!

The book was nearly two years in the making and just arrived from the printing press last week. It's now available on Amazon (http://amzn.to/29pxSRh ) and through my web site: http://www.bonsaibook.net/

I have about 30 5 x 7 prints remaining of John Naka's 'Goshin' and I will include one in any orders that's placed through my web site until the stock runs out.

Here's my brief description of the book:
Two years ago, I began making the photos of the bonsai trees as a sort of respite, an excuse to be near something beautiful and to appraise it fully, without the usual time constraints I had grown accustomed to in my professional work. The bonsai, themselves, seemed the very opposite of the subjects I usually photographed they stood before me fully present, their sense of time measured in decades, even centuries. From my first glimpse of the trees all those years ago, I knew implicitly that there was something to be learned from them, from their endurance and quiet dignity.

thanks,
Stephen
