I went to a workshop at Tony Bebb's on Saturday, and we all started with some very bushy junipers.

Nice job Mel! Hard to see but looks like it has a fantastic little nebari on it too. Will you leave it 12 months or so before you post it up?

Cheers,
Pearcy.

Thanks Anthony, Rob and Pearcy!

These junipers are being produced with the curves already built in, I think they're around 3 years old. Makes the styling so much easier! I can see now why pre-styled bonsai starters are definitely the way of the future!

@Pearcy we potted them up on the day, over-potted, I must admit, but Tony reckons that we're coming out of the cold now, so they should be ok. Watered well, and then left to dry out a bit, in a warm spot in Brissy.. should be ok...

Mind you, we haven't had much sun since that day! Hopefully it'll happen soon... Fingers crossed!

Here's the tree in its training pot. It's quite deep, so will need to be settled and repotted in a year or two.
