https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parc_floral_de_Paris

They have a substantial collection at this park on the outskirts of Paris. Many old trees originally imported during the early 20th century and a hothouse with tropical species. Can't really find much else about the collection online in English.

Shibui: Thank-you for the Cowra link. The Denver one is already listed as Bill Hosokawa Bonsai Pavilion and Tea Garden at the Denver Botanic Gardens.

Evan: Thank-you for the Pairs link.

Are you counting collections that are part of commercial nurseries in your list?

Good question, evan.

Please see my initial attempt at a definition, http://www.magiminiland.org/BigPicture/ ... ctions.pdf .

Therefore, if a group that meets this definition happens to be part of a nursery operation, then we would want to include its "vitals statistics" in this master listing of collections.

Discussion?

Seems I skimmed past that bit :palm: . If that's the case, I've got some more to add to the list then.

Collector's Corner - Melbourne, Australia
Have never actually been there, maybe someone who has can confirm what it's actually like and if it can be included on the list.

Kandaka Shojuen - Takamatsu, Japan
The most famous nursery in Kinashi Bonsai Village, they have a substantial collection of masterpiece trees.

I think maybe a further definition of formal display, maybe with an example, should be included. And maybe a sentence about trees being on display, not being for sale to count as a collection.

No, sir. You did not skim past the initial definition before: I added that yesterday specifically to try to answer -- for you and me -- your question about criteria for nursery collections. I will see about refining it and adding your links this weekend. Thank-you.
