Leptosperum rotundifolium Flowers........

Hi all , I have had this leptosperum rotundifolium (thanks to Shibui and his I.D skills ) for several years. I have been working on building ramification and always cut it back pretty hard. I would love to see some flowers ,it is putting on a growth spurt now, normally I would cut it back. What are the odds on getting a flower or two if I let this growth or is it to late? Excuse the pretty shoddy wiring  Thanks John.

Pretty sure you'd be cutting off the flowers if you prune it now.

Mine are flowering at the moment, and I think Spring is pretty much their flowering season

Good stuff John. I like the cake and indeed, I like the cake tin too - who made the pot, if I may ask.

Bonsai teaches me patience.

Hi Mark ,
The Pot is from Erin Bonsai in England. Picked up a nice stash several years ago when the Aussie Dollar had a steller run.

Mmm, good flowers, great rugged looking bonsai and great pot. What more could a young man ask for? Congratulations.

Best thing about Victor Harris is that he offers free postage if you buy 5 or more. https://erinbonsai.com/ I'm a regular on his website. :)

It's between Vic and Marie Hewartson as to whose pots I own more of.... hmm...does that make sense?
