Bougainvillea - The Brolga

This isn't quite there yet, still some things to fix, immature branches, the straight bit at the head, no nebari to speak of, but it is in flower and I figure I am up for the challenge (or the critique depending on how it goes).
This is the largest chainsawed stump I have attempted but as shown they can be quite large and still take. This is a result of a larger Bougie falling in a cyclone, the branch hitting the ground and beginning to take root, so some root was on it by the time I got to it but not what you would call substantial. Hence it is still buried as the nebari builds and I lift it.
The first photo is at June 14, it was collected I think earlier that same year. did have photos but they got lost in a hard drive crash.

I have one I dug in Autumn that is a carbon copy of this minus the branching, just a stump at this stage with a few small shoots.

I like the direction it is going, thanks for the inspiration.
