Plant bleeds clear liquid

Any idea who this fella is. I gave it a chop and it oozed quite a bit of clear liquid (non sticky). It was dripping down the trunk line. Is a native and is not deciduous. The leaves may not be as small or yellow as is not in its healthiest form.
