Hi all, I recently finished making a new stand and wanted to show it off and list it for sale.
The timber is Tassie oak, finished with feast Watson stain and polyurethane. I've been working on it over a few months now and have learned a LOT from it! It was a pleasure to make

Dimensions are:
60mmH x 320mmL x 215mmD
Centre board:
250mmL x 150mmD

I'm selling it for $350
Postage is $15 plus a handling fee of $10

I am also willing to make a custom storage/transport box lined with felt for $100 if the buyer is interested.

Very nice shape, how did you shape those legs? They look awesome.

The legs were shaped using a scroll saw and then a sh*tload of sanding
It's the first time I'd made anything like them.
Will be cool to make more elaborate legs for tables in the future!

iv'e wanted a scroll saw for ages ! just another reason to get one and cool to see what else can be done on them

Thanks Ky, they're quite a useful machine, I would recommend buying a good quality one if you do though..

Mate they are a labour of love,I know I have made similar things,no one wants to paid you for your hours I can see you put into it, I have been asked heaps of times to do these but I refuse to work for 5 bucks an hour,would rather just make them for myself.
It looks really good, don't drop the price any more,put your own trees on it.

You're not wrong there Paul and that's what it is for me, I make them out of love and would still be doing it if I got paid for them or not!
I don't have any trees of my own to exhibit and don't plan to so I have little use for them other than displays around the house.
