Hawthorn

It must be Hawthorn day today - 3 posts with this species flowering well this year.
This tree was collected from a pebbly area near Wood Point around 35 years ago. I've finally convinced it to start producing more than a handful of flowers. Still not the masses of flowers that I see on the ferals along the roadsides here but still far better than it has ever done.
Pictured on the bench at Albury Show today. Sadly did not win a prize.
