Had a little fun today working on this little guy.
Stock was purchased from Bonsai World, Jilliby for $8
Stands roughly 100mm high.

If you wanted to shape it, you should have wired that main trunk you chopped of, and moved it out of the way. It is what we call a sacrificial branch. That way you increase its ability to grow, you can wire your tree AND it thickens and grows more vigorously than what you have done. We live and we learn. Keep gaining experience and skills. Unfortunately this little guy didn't survive the heat Newcastle had a couple weeks ago. I went away and had someone watering my plants but they didn't for a couple days. This was the only one hat died

The others are all in bigger pots with different potting mix.
My juniper cuttings died too though.
