I know this has been discussed before but just wondering if there's anything new to look at. I just aquired a couple of die grinders so looking for some new bits to go with them. The Ozitos have served me well but time to move on. I have a couple of bits from Kaizen bonsai and they are amazing. I like the changeable cutting tips on them.
I have a dremel for smaller finer work so looking for something to eat the wood. I do have a carbotec wheel for the grinder but sometimes thats to big.
Apart from Kaizen what do you use recommend.

Between Abortec and Dremel I'm quite happy with the outcome so far...have placed an order of Kaizen's little terrier bits for the Dremel...can't wait to try them soon.

Hi Josh,

Go to Tien at Bonsai Sensation, he's got a few nice biting inserts for the Dremel and bigger ones for a standard Drill ... and well priced too! I've been using both for some time now and I'm happy with them! Kaizen stuff is great, but quite expensive.

Yeah I've got those but need some for the die grinders. Will probably just go the 01 terrier but thought I'd check if anyone's using anything different.

Thanks Rudi, I've used the bits from Tien. They are good and if on a budget would highly recommend but personally I found the kaizen bits a lot better to use. Yes they are expensive but I guess you get what you pay for. I also like that fact you can change the cutting cup/edge on the kaizen tools. Highly recommended Tiens carving bits if you're not doing a lot of carving or on a tight budget though. Thanks

Arbortech make a mini grinder that fits a die grinder, or you can buy one already made up and ready to go from carba-tec

I got a 3 insert carving bit from Rudi Spanko too - best thing I ever bought

I have the Terrier bit from KAizen, that fits onto my Dremmel. OUTSTANDING

I do have the larger blade for the grinder from arbotec and love it. Planning on getting the mini grinder one day.

No you send him an email and sends you some info. He makes the cutting tools himself on a CNC machine. I am not sure if the exchange rate is still the same, but when I looked into it before buying he was cheaper because he uses euros whereas Graham Potter is pounds which are much worse in the exchange rate. Bear in mind this was several years ago, you will need to research it again.
