At the workshop on Sunday I noticed Andrew using one of these beauties. I had seen them for sale on Ebay before I think but thought they where pretty much a gimmick. Seeing Andrew using it at the workshop I changed my mind and see it as a very handy little attachment that worked extremely well. Whether for the small collection or as a handy watering option for such things as workshops.
Any way Andrew has membership to a club that sells them and I am searching the Internet for a good international deal. If anyone is interested we could make it a new group purchase deal.
Most sellers are from the UK at about $5 AUD plus postage for the 4 pack and it looks like we can get through Andrews Club at $1.95 AUD plus postage but I think that is a single one? I believe I have found a UK store that will sel the 4 pack at $3.50 AUD plus postage. I will ask for a postage quote for 20 packs and see how we go.

what size tops are they,do they fit the plastic milk bottles Or are they the 250litre coke bottles.

They fit your standard water bottle and I believe that is the same as a coke bottle but not the milk bottle.

Oh wow, these are great! I just bought a watering wand with a fine and mist setting today, so I probably won't need any myself now, but they look really good!

What would you rather take to a workshop your watering wand or one of these with your drink bottle

Patience Jordy It has only been 6 hours give them a chance I just searched ebay and there is one seller in the UK again I have asked a postage cost and a multi postage cost. Could even work out better to get them individually if you take posting in Australia again into account.

Put me down for 3 sets. Can donate one as a special raffle prize and the other as a gift...seems a great idea as well as nicely gimmicky to bring in member money at one of my bonsai clubs. So 3 for me.

Every 4 pack I have come across is from the UK and are about $5 plus postage. The ones being sold on Ebay are also from UK. Although they did offer a generous bulk deal I don't think teh saving will be enough to warrant a bulk deal
One four pack will cost you about $7.75 delivered to your door.
10 four packs with combined postage and 5% discount will arrive for $5.85 per unit
20 four packs with combined postage and 10% discount will arrive for $5.19 per unit
Although not a bad saving this will probably get wiped out when we post nationally here

I was chasing another supplier that was selling them half the price of other dealers but they have refused to give a postage quote saying it is not worth it. I asked if I bought 100 would that help but they have not responded bloody poms!

Might be easier to just get ours sent over separately. Bit of a pity to pay separate postage but it seems to ad up much the same in the end. There is still an option of not getting the 4 packs but a single top for as little as $1.65. What do ya's think?

May be if bonsai clubs bought them instead, that way postage would be cheaper.( Meaning),the head of club takes the orders and hands them out to his members when they meet again. That Way Brett you can get mine and when i see you i'll get mine then.

Not sure that would work Petra except on a local scale I will be happy to add yours to my purchase if we buy separately.
I have had some interesting replies from the supplier that was selling at half the price. He quoted $54 pound or something compared to the $12 pound of the other quote
I questioned this and he stated that it was a registered post that was tracked but I was welcome to take my chances with normal post if I liked

Gidday Brett, they look great, i would be interested in 50 -100 of the lids if this helps with calculating/negotiating. They would come in very handy. Thanks Mase
