Thanks Pup, I'm really glad you have posted your exotics. They show your style off very well.
I love your Mame collection and would like to see them showcased on their own. Perhaps with a coin or something to show the size.

Thanks,
Steven

Steven I do have them with a double a battery for size comparison some where. I'll fish them out.

Bit of a tread revival, very nice trees Pup.

Can't but help myself with a correction, The last Hinoki is a Chamaecyparis obtusa "Flabelliformis" These are an incredibly slow growing dwarf. I have one that is over 30 years old and is only a foot and a half tall. They grow as round blobs, beautiful green foliage, unfortunately suffers from the hinoki habit of loosing internal foliage. They make excellent small bonsai because of there slow, fine growth, roughly a centimetre or so a year. Rarely seen though, which is more the pity.

Once again, a nice gallery of trees,

Thanks Pup

Paul

Very impressive gallery of trees. I agree with Steven, a "closer" look at the mame would be terrific.
Thanks

Mrs Pup watches me like a hawk when I move it to clean it out. :)

They are on page 89 of my posts under Mame Shito and Shohin from when the site was in its infancy.

Very nice collection. I especially like the two in the first photo. Mrs Pup is obviously a dab hand at the bonsai bench. :P
