Lilly Pilly Progression

I dug this Lilly Pilly out of a garden hedge in Jan 2014. I Didn't really know what I was doing when I started this tree but it's been growing strongly ever since. It's now 46cm tall with a trunk base 6cm thick. It still needs work but I like where it's going. I'd like to get it into a pot. Can anyone recommend what style of pot would best to compliment the tree? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Tom

You really have done a great job with this, and it shows what can be achieved in a short period of time.
I'm having a vote for glazed, oval in the pot stakes.

I agree with Watto, really nice. Will have to post another shot in a few weeks when those flowers open up.

Looks great. I would also go for an oval pot. At least as deep as the trunk is wide and with a light colour e.g. cream.

Oval pot. Got it!
Thanks for the tips and compliments guys.
I'm really loving these Lilly Pilly's. I had no idea how rough you can be with them. Bare trunk them, throw them in any old soil and they still go ballistic! My cat used it as a scratching post early on and my kid has bounced a thousand balls off it and it's still sweet.
I've always been a juniper kind of guy but Aussie natives have really grown on me lately. Can't wait to hit the local nurseries for more stock!
