				Juniper squamata progression.

				A little progression on this tree which is becoming a bit more of a "Funky" piece than a tree per sey. Once i start styling in this way, and the tree presents itself, then i have to go in that direction. It was all wired up as a young tree and twisted and bent then left to do it's own thing for a while. Wire marks have added character and i will keep it going in it's weird and wonderful direction.

				Hi Bodhi , mate I don't particularly like working with  these needle junipers but alas someone has too and  yes I have a couple of specimens  

 . I certainly like the movement in the trunk , I will be watching this one with interest .

				It's a very graceful piece of dancing design. For my money, the angle in "second styling" might be a bit better, as the foliage sits between the trunk apex and the pot. It could of course be a different matter in the bark. 
I think it can be quite difficult to get strong lines that don't "look like someone made it" - a bit try-hard. This works well for me.
