Hi All,

This is a Shimpaku Tanuki Bonsai that was started about 4 years ago by Ric Roberts, whom many of you would know. Last year when Naoki Maeoka was out, he spotted this tree and asked to have a play. This is the result with a years worth of growth since then and it was repotted today into a Japanese pot.

It has been placed in full sun and will be fed well. Ric mentioned too me that with the growth it has put on since Naoki worked on it, it has lost a bit of definition so I do believe his intention will be to refine Naoki's work once it has settled into its new domain.

Any thoughts and comments are most welcomed.

Mate I'm a big fan of all your material but i do struggle to understand this one?
Perhaps it's the definition you speak ok?

I'll be honest and say that the narrow base trends to draw my eye in a not so good way.
