Just whipped together a simple bench using a couple star pickets and a sleeper.
Nice little place to keep my smaller trees.

Hi benbonsai , mate i love the simplicity of this bench , you could thread a rod through both star pickets protruding out 1 side and drop another shelf down lower .

Might use this principal here as I need more benches to capture the Winter sun got plenty of planks and star pickets laying idle and plenty of tree's needing more sunshine .

It's really only for the winter as my house shades quite a lot of the yard.
I just used long nails.
One thing I do like about it is it can go anywhere and it's really easy to level, just drive the pickets in further haha.
