Gday folks!

Those of you who know me from the bonsaTALK days will be aware that I tend to take lots of photos when on holiday. Then I tend to post a bunch of them on the Web, and hopefully manage to provide some small amount of inspiration for my fellow Internerds.

Enjoy!

Gday Nathan!

All the photos above were taken in the Pinnacles Desert, about 20km from Cervantes.

Glad you like them!

Thanks.

Fly.

It's like the great wall of China. We built it to keep the Easterners out but it has worn down a bit from the elements over the years. We had a referendum and realised there is the odd useful Aussie in the East so now we use the sand gropers to pick off the worst ones as they try to get through. Only the worthy get to see what is past this. ;)

Thanks for sharing, Fly! That's amazing, they almost look like they're positioned. Like a little stone village.

Fabulous shots of rather inhospitable terrain.
Any Ficus there?

Go for it, Mr Pup! It takes me a while to edit them so that they are worth showing, so if you post some, it will take the heat off me for a bit.

Thanks in advance.

Fly.

G,day Guys as you can see I asked Mr Fly if I could post some pics from the Pinnacles here as well.
Ken and Jerry most of the tree's are either Banksia or Hakea, with some Eucalyptus and Tuart. It is about a 3 hour drive north of Perth. That depends on the car you drive or hire  .
It is a wind blown dessert of Limestone and as you can see some weird shapes. I have also included some of the flower's, it is pretty hard to get them in focus when the wind is blowing, you wait and just as you press the shutter it blows.
I like Mr Fly hope you enjoy them :)

Thank you gentlemen, wonderful pictures. It brought back some fond memories of a wonderful part of the country. That is why it is called the wildflower state. Spent many a day around that area. Makes me want to move back home.

Glad you still call it home Bodhi. It is a beautiful place and fortunately not too many know that so we are still safe.

We do want some of you to come over for our Convention in 2011 though you will receive a most warm welcome. :)

Pup :)
