Can Juniper Prostrata Nana be easily air layered? How slow are they to strike roots?
Or, will they strike roots in large cutting, like cutting of thicker than 1"?

In Queensland they are really easy to air-layer. I would assume Sydney would be similar. They get roots on them within weeks. The quickest I've done the complete air layer was 6 weeks during spring time. It must have been the right conditions. It was on a tree I wanted to show at the club show so it was a gamble when I cut it off early and it survived with the large amount of roots it had on it.

Junipers can be a bit slow to strike from cuttings so larger cuttings would be hit and miss. Far more reliable and quicker as layers.
