Yellow Spots

Hi. I noticed these yellow spots on some of my ficus leaves. Any ideas?Image

Did you look under the leaf? The answer could be there.

Take your pick from the below three possibilities as i'm unable to distinguish exactly the difference.
All of which are completely common, natural and harmless on many Ficus species:

Cystolith
Lithocyst
Hydathode


This is an example of my Ficus macrophylla:

However, as Mel mentioned check the leafs underside, my above three diagnosis is based upon an unremarkable surface on the leaf's underside.

Look like normal fig leaf spots to me.

Same here, but worth checking underneath anyway....never know!

I didn't know the proper names, thanks Kevin. "Normal fig leaf spots" fills the bill for me, but hey, underneath *might* show something different.

Can't see any pests under there, so looks like they're just normal fig leaf spots. :)

Check out Kevin's list on google and you should get the ultimate answer.
